Our Annual Meetings
The Glen Lake Association is tremendously proud to boast more than 75 years of preserving and protecting the Glen Lake/Crystal River Watershed. Our Annual Member Meeting serves as a platform to showcase our achievements, address business matters before the membership and reconnect friends and neighbors from around the watershed. An overview of this year’s event and business meeting documents follow.
As specified in the bylaws Glen Lake Association (GLA) Annual Meetings shall be held on a date in July or August of each year as selected by the Board of Directors.
The GLA Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for members and friends of the GLA to learn about activities of the GLA over the past year and to discuss other issues of interest to the membership.
Election of Board of Directors
Per our bylaws, members who represent a qualified riparian property and are current as of the annual date of record, have the opportunity to vote for new board members who are filling vacancies for terms that have expired or those seeking a second term. A nominating committee identifies qualified members and makes their recommendations for the available positions.
