In the photo, the dark area are thousands of Emerald Shiners (minnows) that are happily spawning! Great job by the Leelanau County Road Commission on fixing the culvert beneath MacFarlane Rd. The work was completed by Elmer’s Crane and Dozer. The project was completed in about 4 weeks and MacFarlane Rd. is now open.
